Taboo showcases kooky tropical décor and offers a relaxing vibe. While they are known for their “famous” sandwiches and burgers, Taboo also offers a place to sit and relax over a cup of coffee. As a dog-friendly establishment, they welcome guests to bring along their four-legged friends! Lake House 13 is unique to the Lake of the Ozarks area, as it is not necessarily a new destination, but is a completely new facility. Due to a fire on February 27, 2018, Lake House 13 was a total loss. However, they were able to open for business within only 63 days of the start of their re-build. Visit this restaurant to eat on the water – they even have dock slips available for guests. Being right near a gas dock on the 13MM is a plus as well. If you are out for a ride on the lake, pull in to get gas and then head right on over to Lake House 13 for great food, a fun atmosphere, and you may even get to see some live music!
